Just for the sake of wanting more people to read this book, this review will be spoiler-free and short. Let me inform you beforehand that if you have read this book then you'll probably be bored by this review. The sole purpose of this review is to encourage more people to read this book. If you have read the book and want to discuss it, I will be posting a book discussion soon.
If you're still decisive whether or not to buy this book, then by all means, go running to the nearest bookstore and purchase it. Read until you don't know how to think anymore unless you get to the end of this book. It's worth it. This is one book that you should not miss.
A lot of people have said this before me, but let me tell you one more time: if you still don't know what this book is about, then don't let people spoil it for you, or don't listen to anything at all. Go into this book blind, and expect nothing.
This book is happiness and heartbreak, light-hearted and dark. It is all kinds of everything.
The characters are lovable and hateful, unappreciative and grateful. They are passionate and cold, beautiful and ugly.
This book will leave you stunned; it will leave your heart feeling like it was jabbed by a spear at all directions, but in my opinion, it is worth it. You will learn something from this book.
So get up now and get your dirty little hands on this books. Expose your soul to this book. Then read until you feel all the energy in your body is completely drained. (Do you feel it? Do you feel the mysteriousness of this book?)
My sincerest apologies if this was not the review you wanted. In my opinion, this is how one should enter We Were Liars. I do not want anyone to be spoiled even the tiniest bit.
A fair warning: expect your heart and soul to be torn to little pieces by the end of this book. That is all.
My rating for this book: 96%
