I've been itching to do a book tag lately, mainly because there are a lot of good ones on Booktube. The TMI tag has been circulating around Booktube and I thought the questions were really fun to answer! I haven't seen any book bloggers do this tag - not that I've really searched - but who says this tag was only for Youtube? (I wasn't tagged but this should be fun anyways) Today, I'm doing the TMI tag -Bookish Edition- so you can learn more about me (if you haven't already from my sidebar and introduction page) ...not that you want to.
(Also, I'm breaking this tag into five parts - five blog posts - because there are 50 questions (50, you guys!) and it would be insanity trying to fit them all into one blog post. So look forward to part two! ...and threeandfourandfive.)
1) What fictional character has the best style?
Forgive me if I may be a bit biased, but I'm going with Celaena Sardothien from the Throne of Glass series. Kickass? Check. Feminine? Check.
2) Your book girlfriend/boyfriend fictional crush?
Because I have dozens of fictional crushes (and I'm sure you have too), I'm just going to name my latest crush: Enzo Valenciano from The Young Elites . That boy...so dark and mysterious.
...what happened to him was heartwrenching though. Consider that a warning if you haven't read the book.
3) Ever loved a character but then started hating them?
I know there's a few but I can't really think of any right now so I'm going with America from The Selection trilogy...or basically every character from that trilogy. They started out as okay-ish characters but after the first book everything went downhill. Talk about characters who can't make up their minds! *eye roll*
4) Biggest/longest book on your shelf?
Is this some devious trick to get me off my lazy ass? Because I ain't gonna.
From my position on the floor however, City of Heavenly Fire is a safe bet. I think it's the longest though.
5) Heaviest book on your shelf?
Still not getting up, but I'm guessing City of Heavenly Fire would be the heaviest, since it's already the largest.
6) Do you have any book posters?
I have! (But not much. I intend on getting more.) It's attached to the book so I can't exactly pin it up on my bedroom wall, which, come to think of it, was a really stupid idea to put them in there in the first place. WHY GIVE US BOOK POSTERS IF WE CAN'T REMOVE THE POSTER FROM THE BOOK WITHOUT PHYSICALLY HURTNG BOTH OF THEM?!??
...that's the best you can do?
7) Do you have any book themed jewellery?
Why yes, I do have book themed jewellery! (AND I LOVE THEM)
I already have a blog post on fandom jewellery drafted and waiting to be updated. I will finish that blog post...one day.
8) Book OTP?
Oh, come on now! You're expecting me to choose? That's really unfair. I want to say Arin and Kestrel from The Winner's Curse but I still don't know what to make of that ending though.
9) Favourite book series?
The This-Series-Will-Forever-Have-A-Place-In-My-Heart type:
Harry Potter (duh), Percy Jackson (double-duh), and the Gallagher Girls series
and the Recently-Read-But-Is-Equally-As-Good type:
Throne of Glass, The Young Elites, The Winner's Curse and Under the Never Sky (it's a trilogy I KNOW)
10) Favourite Book-To-Movie soundtrack?
Divergent and The Fault in Our Stars. The Divergent soundtrack has so many great songs in it. I especially loved Run Boy Run - I always get very pumped whenever I listen to this song! - and Find You - that song gives me so many feels I CAN'T.
When I am in the mood for some quiet, nostalgic songs, I go for the TFiOS soundtrack. You can never go wrong with that soundtrack. All of The Stars is a good song for nostalgia and will have me doubling over because of the feels within seconds, plus the music video is pretty darn brilliant.
