Hello, dear readers! I am super excited for this week's #FF because...
I am this week's #FF Featured Blogger! (on Parajunkee!)
WHOPEE! *throws one-person celebration party in bedroom*
Now before we get too excited, here's what Feature and Follow Friday is about. The idea of the blog hop is to make new bookish friends (YAY!) and also, to gain new blog followers. And because I am the featured blogger for this week's #FF , I get to, y'know, answer some extra questions...
I started blogging in June and it was the best decision I ever made.
2. What is your favourite part of book blogging?
Book blogging has opened my eyes to even more books and genres. Before I started a book blog, I restricted myself to reading only a certain type of genre, but blogging has encouraged me to branch out to other genres and books that I loved as much!
3. What type of books do you mainly blog about?
Young Adult, definitely. Young Adult books have intrigued me for a long time, but since I promised myself to read and discover more books, I also blog about New Adult novels occasionally.
4. What is your favourite book(s)?
I could go on and on forever with my ever-changing list of books that are my favourite! However there is one book that particularly stands out in my mind, and it is The Winner's Curse by Marie Rutkoski. Oh, that book. I finished it just recently and it gave me ALL THE FEELS. It's official: Marie Rutkoski is now my favourite author!
5. What has been the best thing that has happened to you because of book blogging?
Interacting with more bookish people (and authors!)! I used to feel alone with no one to gush over books and my last great read, but since I started book blogging I found a whole lot of people who I could talk to and relate. I also gathered up the courage to tweet an author whose book I loved dearly and received a reply the next morning. BEST. FEELING. EVER.
And now for this week's #FF question:
Book character(s) you'd like to see with their own Twitter page
s u g g e s t e d b y : A G r e a t R e a d
Oooh, I have tons of answers for this creative question, but the one character that I would like to see most with his own Twitter page is Jace Herondale from The Mortal Instruments. Simply because I would have a great time reading his tweets and laughing my ass off. :D
If I had to choose another character, it would be Percy from the Percy Jackson series. What I wouldn't give to see him have his own Twitter page! He would probably have a hard time navigating it though.
He'd start like this:
And end up like this:
God knows that's how I used to end up when I just started using social networking sites and didn't know a thing about them.
And finally, it'd be greatly appreciated if you follow my blog through bloglovin:
