Hello, everyone! I hope you're feeling the Christmas spirit - if you haven't, don't worry. Kat's here to help. Well, virtually that is. You might be asking by now, "What is this announcement about?" I'm fairly sure you've figured it out that it's something related to Christmas. If you have, that's absolutely correct. The graphic below is to give you a better idea of what this is all about.
Basically, it's a small Christmas-themed event in which Perusing Bookshelves are updated with Christmassy posts all month long. Christmas-themed guest posts will dominate the first half of the event but there will also be some posts written by yours truly. There will be a gift guide (or maybe two), a Christmas wishlist, and I'm hoping to include a few reviews on Christmassy books. Of course, I'm working harder to bring you spontaneous posts - Christmas-themed, that is - that weren't mentioned. And oops, I almost forgot to tell you - this event is titled 'Tis the Season To Be Readin' " because I love the idea of reading at Christmas. I wasn't able to host a giveaway like I wanted as I live internationally (maybe next year, guys?) , so consider this as a gift from me - to you. It isn't much, but hey - what's important is that it comes from the heart, right?
Be on the lookout for this graphic:
When you see this on the top of a post in December, basically it means that it is a featured post in the event, 'Tis the Season to Be Readin'! I don't want to stop my regular reviews and musings and with this, you won't get confused. (Or I hope so.)
